This Stag Beetle In Resin goes by the name Neolucanus Swinhoei. It is recognized by its thick head and dark orange body. It is widespread and can be found in the subtopic Taiwan Islands. This particular species of stag beetle is a week flyer and has an adult lifespan is only 2 weeks.

This real beetle in resin makes a nice addition to any insect collection or to be used as an entomology teaching aid.

Orange coloration on this Stag Beetle can sometimes be very dark. (See photos) As with all Insects in Lucite, color, size and positioning can vary slightly. Lucite block measures approx. 2 3/4 inches tall by 1 1/2 inches wide.
